>You've already made up your mind that there's something wrong with Linux

You don't have to think
"there's something wrong with Linux"
to prefer Windows.

They are different things.
One is a fringe OS with
lots of cool features,

and the other is
the whole wide world. Just because
a person enjoys

living in New York
or Los Angeles they're not
saying Des Moines sucks . . .

Firm,

This is true enough but it does not mean when someone says 'Linux is hard' that its true. What brought on the parent to your post was a series of 'Linux cant do this' that were factually incorrect like 'Linux is hard to update'. Im not asking anyone to use Linux, Im happy to help people who want to play but when someone throws a big heaping pile of lie on the floor Ill call it what it is..

You don't have to think "there's something wrong with Linux" to prefer Windows.

If you'll go back and read the posts, you'll be able to take my comment in context.

The poster said that he tried Linux and it had X wrong with it. When the fix for X was pointed out, he moved along to "Yeah, but then there is Y".

For every thing pointed out, he came up with another one.

This has nothing to do with what he prefers, it has to do with rebutting "Bah, Linux 5uX0rz."

If one prefers Windows, fine. But don't bash something if you don't know it.

BTW,

Writing posts that are

reminiscent of a

haiku

are most
