'Muslim Madonna' - Brace for another muslims' riot, bloodshed

Muslim pop singer Deeyah has irked the Muslim world with her provocative new music video that shows her stripping off a burka to reveal her bikini-clad body.

Deeyah claims, the video, What will be? deals with Muslim women's rights and female empowerment, as it also features Muslim women who have fought for freedom of expression.
The singer, who was born in Norway but moved to the UK after her act alienated her from the Muslim community, has been forced to cancel performances and hire a team of bodyguards after inciting anger from British Muslims as well.
"I can't walk around without bodyguards. I would be lying if I said abuse from religious fanatics did not upset or scare me," the 28-year-old, dubbed as the 'Muslim Madonna' was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying.
Asian music TV network B4U TV dropped the video after receiving complaints.
"We played the video a couple of times and then did not play it again. We had threats which we were forced to take very seriously. These things are sensitive issues," an employee said.

Thanks for sticking up for me. First it's Deeyah, next it's going to be "Sharmoota" who makes out with women and curses in language that would make a sailor blush and send Hugh Hefner cowering.

I'll be honest, I'm ok with 2 and 3 because of the kind of music I listen to (rock/alternative). But all of this was a precursor to the slide towards the cultural corruption we have today. I would gladly sacrifice good music for the safety of our Republic
Note that this is nto through the force of arms and laws but a societal rejection of such things.
I understand that even the songs I like are part of a trend that america would be better of not going towards.

We don't take it lightly when you threatinin women, how you have so much hate and faith in religion. Fake in the system, need to take a break wit the dissin, before you end up in the lake where they fishin. Hearin bout the Muslim madona, asian j lo, lookin for drama (ok) if you say so. If you that religious and not wit trendy clothes, then what you doin even watchin videos.

good call. That is why we must overcome the liberal lies against Christianity and make it clear that we don't like people parading naked but we won't kill them for it.

I don't see it as a step forward, step backward, or a step in any direction in particular. The notion that a little T&A is going to shake fundamentalist Islam is a liberal conceit. It's just playing to the seamier aspects of their culture . . . and ours.
