The legos don't bug me... legos are cool. If they need washing, well... women are convinced that men can't get along without them anyway and if the legos are among those things that need to be cleaned I'll get to them eventually ;-)

Legos last a LONG time. A childhoods worth of playing with them will leave them vaguely gritty at best from finger oils picking up dirt. Mom has all my old legos. Most of what I have now was picked up off ebay and suffers from the same problem. It is not enough dirt to SEE but it is there a bit. Some of them smell vaguely of smoke from having been in a smoking household. As for HAVING legos. Well I have more hobbies than I have time for. Adults with legso can do things that kids only dream of. Like
this for example. Not something of mine (I don't have THAT mich time), but pretty cool.
