If terror comes to the ports, will the backers pay? Will they be allowed to slip the cordon? Will they be insulated or will they be charged for 1,000 or 10,000 counts of murder? What if we have ten good years at these ports and then a live smoky shot of carnage? Isn't it self-endangering for the people who are pushing this? A free people simply will not forgive if this dangerous deal goes forward and the very thinkable happens. This deal feels like slow moving state murder of innocent citizens.
Instead of posting the fantasy you just can't wait to become reality, to news, go to bed and dream about it.
If the UAE bombs us their country is GONE, if a private company bombs us, ehh their business is gone. Who has more at stake?
Would we even know about it?
Say a bomb passes through one of these ports and ends up detonating in Petro Alley in Houston or Vegas or YOU PICK, would the people that gave us this deal say it came through those ports?
We would be in Mother of all cover ups territory...
How many friends and family members of those who were murdered on 9/11 rose up and went after the Clintons and their entire administration, for allowing 9/11 to happen? After all, we all knew about Clinton refusing to take OBL, when he was offered to Clinton, THREE TIMES. We all knew that Clinton did less than nothing, after the first WTC bombing.
Why pray tell would I want it to happen?
I think you do yourself no favors by taking chemotheraphy to kill all the principle cells, such that they are, that you have left in your body.
Many people said, "Wow, we'd never been hit like this before. This was a wake up call. How could Clinton or Bush predict this?"
After 9-11, whomever enacts policy that makes terror in America more likely doesn't get that benefit....

So you are four square behind this deal? Would you want the UAE to provide Presidential security? Would Bush?
Why wouldn't Bush trust the lives of his family and himself to the UAE but is mucho comfortable putting the lives of average Americans in the UAE's terror-sponsoring hands?

Just exactly how would the UAE port operators cause our security and customs people to screw up their responsibility and let WMD or terrorists to slip through and kill us all? Don't give me the standard "the-only-good-arab-is-a-dead-arab" prattle, explain preciesly what you fear that this deal would be likely to allow AQ to know about our ports that they already don't! What danger do the UAE's Muslim businessmen pose that the British Muslim businessmen didn't?
