Oh, I don't know. The money he spent on that car saved his life. Had he done that in a Corvette, he would be deader than dead. They would be peeling his flesh from that telephone pole. His money, his loss, but money well spent if you ask me.

Whoever, and however rich, the driver was, he has more luck than money: crashing @ 120mph and being able to run away without any [serious, or even not so serious] injury does not happen every day.

Either this article a product of a babelfish translation or Bob Pool is a terrible writer. What a mess!

I am aghast, agahst that the driver who run away did not immediately notify David gregory about the accident. From now, jsut to be safe, notify David gregory the next time anything happens!

And Malibu local Britney Spears has been chased in a Ferrari by the paparazzi. Wow, those paparazzi must make a ton of money. I need to change professions.

t crested a hill on Pacific Coast Highway going 120 mph and slammed into a power pole.
The driver jumped out of the wreckage and ran into the canyon above Wow! That's an amazing testament to Italian car building ...

Ouch! The thought of that masterwork wrapped around a telephone pole is painful.

These cars were made to be driven, and driven fast. Ferrari wont even sell a car like this to somebody unless they have previously owned a Ferrari, and have driven it - hard.

Thank you. Clarity in writing is a good thing. It's also a good think.

When I was in the army back in the 60s I had a barracks mate who, oddly enough, owned a Ferrari.
What a beautiful car! Everything in it was hand made, from engine to the walnut paneled dashboard. Even the window cranks were hand-made. The leather must have been chosen by someone who picked through a warehouse full of hides, choosing only the very best.

Yes, but the gods must be pleased. All Ferraris should meet their destiny in this fashion.

not my point...
driving 120 on PCH is INSANE!
Do you have any idea how many cars & people are on that road at any given time of day? Someone else could have been easily killed either driving along or a pedestrian crossing PCH.
these clowns may walk away but how many accidents did they cause on their little boy racer prank!
we have race tracks where idiots like them can go race their arses off!
