Give me a break...I'm just sitting here, doing nothing, waiting for the Washington/Cal basketball game... and I check the overtake predictor on overclock...(gasp! choke!) All you guys (and gals) are on my 6 and will overtake me soon. And "davemaher" too, will soon eat me like a bug.

Life is so unfair. I need a federal grant to buy more CPUs. That will make me feel better and is a worthy expenditure of your tax dollars.

I have a PC chewing on one of those as well, luckily it's my best system. All three of my CPUs should complete their current WU tomorrow. Two days of no production, then 759 points in one day.

It's real obvious, that if they aren't in decline, they've gone stale.

I make it a point of checking their current "folding thread" every day, and their two top cheerleaders have gone AWOL, MsCajun and NYliberal, leaving it up to Corporate Mike, and Roland99.

They're slowly losing members off the back end, and not gaining enough new ones, to make up the difference.

Waiting for the day, when Daily Kos catches up to them, and passes them. KOS seems to be a much more pure liberal board, and they'll stick with a cause, even if it's a losing one. Not the dummies though......

Hmm, read this:

"I ran SETI for close to seven years. I intend to fold with every computer I buy until the day it is no longer needed. "

At least DU will have a few true believers to keep contributing and keep the group alive. Anyone that ran SETI for seven years really likes the koolaid. I really hope that they haven't gone stale like so many other groups out there.

Congrats to DU for breaking into the Top 500. That's a pretty good accomplishment.

As for FReepers, we will fold ourselves into the Top 100 within two months and keep plugging away into the Top 30, probably the Top 25.

Active CPUs within 50 days: 939

We should start a new thread tomorrow morning and hopefully sign up a few new members to reach 1,000 CPUs!

I'm waiting for two more WU to be turned in. . . I think they're due pretty soon, although I haven't been able to check on that computer since Thursday. I hope no one turned it off. Those will put me up 600 points and one CPU.

One has to admire, the sheer dedication, of some. Congrats to DU for breaking into the Top 500. That's a pretty good accomplishment.

Not bad at all, when I first joined FR folders, it was like, wow... we might break the top 1000.... As for FReepers, we will fold ourselves into the Top 100 within two months and keep plugging away into the Top 30, probably the Top 25.

Don't settle for anything less that #3. We could never beat team default, and team anonymous, but with time, why shouldn't we be #1?

I like your optimism. I guess you really do have a few more tricks up your sleeve :)
