Tell me about it. I have a 16 and 18 year old. While they like a lot of new music, they like as much or more classic rock. My 16 year old son especially. He likes the Beatles, Queen, Bowie, Roxy Music, basically most of the stuff I liked back then. He dismisses the "punks" of today to listen to Social Distortion. He even listens to Johnny Cash for goodness sakes.
I tell ya, kids these day......

I can sorta relate to that. My 9 year old thinks my AC/DC and Kiss tunes that I keep in the truck are better than todays pop tunes

PUnk is so watered down now it isn't funny. Some of my friends like it, and I tell them that isn't punk, and play them some Clash, Sex Pistols and Stooges. They can't get out of the room fast enough.
Johnny Cash can't be beat. There aren't many singers who at 65 can sing Grunge anthems like Hurt and Rusty Cage and have it sound genuine.
