Thank you..that was so sweet...Yesh she was as beautiful inside as she was outside she sure made an impact on so many people young and old at 16 years of age...
Just hard when a person is so young but that I guess is the big mystery of life...

I was thinking of you this weekend also.
It sounds beautiful - hang in there.

I interviewed for a position, and the first question was, am I a PE because I'll have to testify. The interview went downhill from there. I don't want to be an professional witness. My brother, as I said earlier, is a PE, he's never used it. Looks nice on a business card though. does it increase salary? I have an MBA, I figured that would better my salary than a PE.

My very first job out of college was in Industrial Engineering, methods analyst. I did some time studies.

Your page made me cry. Thank you for sharing.

I am in systems engineering now. Why would you ever be called to testify about anything? I don't know of any engineers that would, except maybe design engineers. Just curious.

I never did time studies, except one class in college, stop watch, etc. What a waste of time, especially with today's technology. I was lucky. My first big 'project' was a new plant our company was building. It was a blast. We got to figure out everything.

The job I interviewed for was a consumer product, big industrial stuff, prime for litigation, big lawsuits and deep pockets.

Now, I'm in supply for other manufactures. There's a lot to be said about tier 2 and 3 suppliers.

Cool. Looks like a great job opportunity. Is your degree in Ind E? My MS in Manufacturing Engineering is from the Ind E dept.

I have an MBA, I figured that would better my salary than a PE.I'm sure it depends on the industry you're in. In contruction, the ability to seal drawings is worth a good bit.

I have a bs in industrial and an MBA in the fluffy field of business. We've probably had similar course work. Some of my bs electives were MS courses.

My good girlfriend is a hydrogeologist. She's should get a MS in civil engineering and take the PE. I keep telling her that.
