My daughter is watching this movie in high school. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it. What things should I focus on when discussing with her? Apparently a main point of the movie is the supposed ease of obtaining guns.

As a former teacher, I agree with Baynative. Why is this being shown in school at all? It's a waste of time to show any theatrically-released films in school. Folks can watch it at home on their own time. Not that it should be assigned...
Just because the left flings more cr*p at your kids in school doesn't mean you should have to deal with the fallout at home. But that, of course, was the teacher's goal: confuse the kids and challenge the parents.

On next weeks list of 'must-see' movies for our 'mush-minds', Fahrenheit 9-11! These movies, if seen at all, should be with adult supervision and guidance.
Rent it and watch it with your daughter first. Make sure she's WAY more prepared than the teacher.
