My guess is estrogen has little direct action.
From what I've seen the more feminine tend to exercise less and like sports less which is probably what causes the strokes and not a biochemical linkage.

More study is needed to confirm these results, but they fit with much of what is already known about hormones, said several experts who were not connected with the new work. Which is not a whole hell of a lot. Or is it they just ain't sharing what they know with the men folk?

Any study from this company is not worth the paper it's written on!
