The Olympics are “big stuff“ . There is something for anyone‘s taste. One must respect the sacrifice & work the athletes have endured to get where they are now.

yes, women truly appreciate a man who can "LEAD" and dances well. Slow dancing with a skillful partner is a joy. with one who just stumbles around, well not fun.

Walking around in circles is not slow dancing....but it is surely better than nothing. I give men & women credit for getting up & having fun. If both partners are satisfied with no skill, guess it is okay.

Introductory lessons at a Y or HS Adult Ed center are fairly reasonable at & a good way to meet women & get confidence (if you are a man) .. well, the same is true for woman.

The best way to take lessons is with a regular partner/preferably significant other. But again going alone is fine as you usually rotate partners during course of evening

Dancing = Guy gets to be really close to pretty girl. Girl likes dance. Might want to dance again, or perhaps go other places with you. Girl likes dance enough, guy might get to kiss her.

Maybe that will help.
