Cool. The 80's rock. My very first concert ever, I saw Pat Benatar in 1982, I think it was. I had just turned 14. Since then my head never left that decade. Even tonight, The Hub and I went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner and they were playing Flock of Seagulls!!!!!

Is that hypothetical or reality?

It is a shame there is no "power" music to listen to for today's kids. just a bunch of stuff that sounds more at home in a funeral procession, or gang war(as in rap)-- nothing that makes you want to "turn it up"!!(like motley crue's "girls, Girls, Girls, Or "Turn up the radio" by Autograph.)

Doesn't prove anything except that you didn't go to your senior prom.

I sure know how to pick 'em, don't I?
Strangers in the night exchanging glances
Wond'ring in the night
What were the chances we'd be sharing love
Before the night was through.
Something in your eyes was so inviting,
Something in your smile was so exciting,
Something in my heart,
Told me I must have you.
Strangers in the night, two lonely people
We were strangers in the night
Up to the moment
When we said our first hello.
Little did we know
Love was just a glance away,
A warm embracing dance away and

Totally true! Most of the so-called "metal" today is just growling, with boring guitar work and no solos.

Well, I've got a law suit going on that should bring me some very big bucks.
However, what about pcottraux? He is conservative, witty and I think he lives in the same state as you. As a bonus, you and he are about the same age.

Don't feel bad. I didn't make it to mine either. Thought I couldn't get a date,(one girl at school who had talked of going with me, backed out at the last minute) and didn't want to go stag. And when Kim found out, she was upset because I didn't ask her--she was more than willing to go with me. Of course I found out this "after the fact". Not long after that, I finally came around to her.
But that ship had already sailed.
