My brother went to law school with the guy who wrote Rounders. Still plays cards with him occasionally. I've never asked him if Rounders quotes are forbidden at the table.
I know the family of the actor who played Danny Noonan pretty well. They have no problem with Caddyshack quotes on the golf course.

Some of my friends love to play poker. They met a guy who has a regular poker game at his house (the setup seems somewhat illegal but oh well) and they call it KGB's. I like that movie better now that I understand what is going on in Texas Hold 'Em.

That movie rawks... except for the girlfriend character. I watch poker movies for the poker. She is the anti-poker. There is no poker when she is on-screen.
