I forgot to mention... They are totally blind to the Chinese/Russian/Latin American threat. They pushed disarmament during the cold war, and see peace as the way to getting world power. The Evil Empire, however, believes in the power of the military, it's tanks and planes, and in Marxism-Leninism. The elite (not Bush) in this country pushes a "Shop till you drop" mentality, which is destructive to US security, and the ones who oppose this are usually even more destructive, such as the Ted Kennedy and Dennis Kisinuch types. (Socialist/communist sympathizers) The CFR elites are the Eurocenterests (Powerful UN, Third Way types). They favor a mix of Communism for the masses and a few elites holding all power, with the abolishment of all religion, and wacky environmental and fiscal policies. The Russians and Chinese will have none of that, however, they will wait until the US is out of the way to deal with the Western European Union.
