A driver allegedly drunk and driving the wrong way faces vehicular homicide and aggravated DWI charges after a crash killed an 18-year-old woman.
Deputies say Guadalupe Ortega, 23, was driving the wrong way early Sunday morning down State Road 313 near Fourth Street in Albuquerque, when Emily Bumken tried to make a legal turn off of Roy Street.
Ortegas pickup hit Bumkens car, killing her instantly.
Deputies say Ortega, a Mexican national, had no license. Theyre waiting on blood tests to figure out how drunk he was.
It's also right by El Pinto restaurant, where President Bush dined during his most recent visit here.

Uhh, what's the RIGHT way to drive in a fatal crash?
Why is it ALWAYS the drunk who walks away unhurt?
another senseless death ...
With only 1.5 million farm jobs, the liberals think we need another 11 million illegals. This is the result.

He was driving the "wrong way" in more ways than one. I think the journalistito meant that he was on the wrong side of the road.
The intersection of 313, Roy and 4th street is a treacherous intersection (with 45-50 mph speed limits), especially if you are making a left turn off 313. Having a blind drunk in the mix doesn't help matters, either.
Here's the intersection in question:
