Why Do My Fingers Smell Funny?

My fingers have smelled strange for a couple of days...kinda of a sickly sweet smell? Has anyone else experienced this?

Nearly everyone has fingers. As a result, the fingers can remain a bit crooked or stiff. The hand functions quite well with these minor deformities. Fingers need not open fully or close completely to be functional.

What part of the finger is affected?
Is it on both hands?
Is it every finger?
Which finger?
Is it only a particular joint? Which joint?
Time pattern
When did the finger pain or itch first start?
How long has it lasted?
Is it continuous or off-and-on
Need to ask your doc these questions

If it were a guy, I don't think my hubby would particularly like it either. Could you imagine their short conversation in a bar with both of them lit up and your ob/gyn makes a comment to your hubby about your....and your hubby punches his lights out right there at the bar.

Seriously, it could be an indication of some sort of glucose related problem such as diabetes. But the smell should be stronger on the breath.
