I seen several of our new folders jump rapidly up the ranks.
"lrenh" is already up to 14,000 points and will pass me before long. New folder, can't find his/her screen name.
I am amazed at how many people join us that don't use their FR screen name, or may not even have a FR screen name.
lrenh, whoever you are, please accept our thanks for joining our team and making a difference!
According to EOC stats, one day later:
FReepers: #29 with 189 active members.
DUmpers: #39 with 132 active members.
I wonder if this lady worked for one of those exit polling firms during the last presidential election.
I saw that. 33 CPUs, impressive.
<heavy sigh>I brought a 3rd CPU on-line last weekend to try to break into the top 100.</heavy sigh>
I looked ahead at some teams to see the secret of their success.
They have been around a long time. That's it.
Most of the teams ahead of us, that are outproducing FR daily, have a negative trend line. We have shown consistent growth and gain folders every week.
We may not beat HardOCP this year (hey its only 250,000,000 points) but give us time!
You really have to wonder, if they have any mathematical skills at all.
Last time I checked, and I'm no math genius, 189 is a higher number than 132.
Not to mention, our ppd per member is 200+, and theirs is only around 100+. More members, plus roughly double the PPD. Hmmm.... I'm no rocket scientist, but....
Nah, couldn't be. Could it?
A stealth borg folder, but most impressive :)
Yer welcome. That's the first and cardinal rule, of any tech support person, tell them to reboot. It cures about 3/4 of the problems, and gives you time to think..... :)
Is your core priority set to "lowest possible"? The only time I noticed program conflicts came after I tried bumping the priority up.
You might want to check your CPU temp.
Wed. Bump
I am set to hit the 5000 point mark tomorrow! Also congrats to Craigon69 who is folding for an AMAZING 273 points PER WU! WOW!
How can we overtake Team Firefox (#76 currently) sooner than we get into the Top100?
All right, we have 798 CPUs.
A few month ago, we were excited to reach 20 CPUs, then 25, etc. We were hoping that eventually we would reach 100 CPUs.
Now, I believe it's possible for us to reach 1,000 CPUs.
What do you all think?
I'll be impressed if we can keep current levels of production enough to overtake SISD
Easy - there are other teams ahead of us that will also overtake them, so that by the time we pull ahead of them they won't be in the top 100 any more :^)
I see what you mailed me about now, houeto.
I'm tinkering to beat hell now.
I want to get a new PC (mine seems to be incapable of finishing a WU without losing all of the data).
I have a small bonus coming to me but I promised Mrs. SV a new dishwasher. Consequently, I will only have a little left over for a PC. Any suggestions?

Yeah, it is. I guess I need to add another 16. Heh. Mine need a kick after the power failure during the storm over the weekend, my points have been the pits(for me).
We have 202 active folding members

There goes another milestone :)
