I might as well join the fray. My favorite romantic movie is probably Breakfast at Tiffany's, or maybe Amelie. Song would be difficult--I like classical more and the one that I'm the biggest fan of is Strauss Jr.'s Emperor Waltz. That said, ballroom dancing is not my forte. For more modern song, I'd have to go with Lady in Red.
My favorite romantic story is Napoleon and Josephine. I know it ended in divorce but thoughts of her never left Napoleon. His final words were "France...Army...Head of Army...Josephine." What those lines tell me is if it were not for affairs of state he would have stayed with her. I often think that great figures would rather lead simple lives. Greatness does not seem to be conducive to happiness.

Movies: "The St. Valentines Day Massacre" [with Jason Robards as Al Capone]. Somehow fitting; "Sink the Bismarck!". It's her birthday [although Germany used the masculine pronoun for its ships]. Launched on February 14th, 1939.
Songs:"Why Don't We Do It In the Road", the Beatles; "Lay, Lady, Lay", Bob Dylan. Cut to the Chase as it were.
Romantic Moments: None, in case you didn't guess.

Are married people barred from this thread? Just wondering. I'm married, but bored tonight (Friday), but I make an excellent matchmaker, if that helps.
