I thought in a continuation of last night's discussion, what's everyone's favorite romantic
power ballad?
My vote goes to "Love of a Lifetime" by Firehouse.

I love ice skating however for some some reason I don't care for pairs as much
I hear that watching in HD is almost 3D?

I do not even know what a power ballad is.

I cannot imagine any one that I hang out with making an advance on another guy, much less laughing about it afterward.(shudder) I was quite surprised they found this so amusing. I would not have expected that reaction. The guy who was "hit on" was the guy telling the story, I suppose he was telling it in a funny way.

Fine. I guess if gaydar isn't manly, I'll just call it my "f&gfinder".
It lets me know that I should never allow myself to be drunk in the presence of those men who set it off.
To: Hoodlum91
It sure is. Do you prefer the one with the hot tub, or the balcony with the great view of the beach?

Can't say I've heard that one. I rather like Bryan Adams' "(Everything I Do), I Do It For You."

Are you two together in real life?

I don't know how old you are, but think 1980s hard rock and metal bands doing softer songs. Also applies to some 70s bands doing the same thing.
Examples:
Nazareth - "Love Hurts"
Skid Row - "I Remember You"

Power ballads were those songs by the old rock bands and so-called "hair bands", mostly in the 80s. Some were good, some were not so good.
To: Paul_Denton
No. We just like playing on the thread.

Yes, I could see a guy ending up in an awkward situation without it.

Yes it is assuming you have a good DLP or some other type HDTV to watch it on.
Either my local station or NBC is having problems with the HD transmission tonight. It keeps switching between full HD and "sort-of" HD.

The guy who was "hit on" was the guy telling the story, I suppose he was telling it in a funny way. I don`t know how I would react to something like that.
If I got by the first impulse of homicide,I don`t imagine I would want to think of it again, let alone joke about it.
