Movies: Casablanca, Best Years of Our Lives, The Winning Team (the first time I saw a Ronald Reagan movie)
A little, nothing really going on other than the introductions.Back to the History channel.
Hi, RC.
How are you tonight?
I can't say I know that one
Ever heard of "Duel in the Sun"
Older movie, a slighly differnt kind of love story
Two of my favorite movies too. But, I am amazed at how many people I run into who have never seen Princess Bride.
Don't I need to make you wait? Isn't that the standard girl thing? It's been so long I don't remember!
Sure, it's romantic!
And Ilsa has some of the nicest outfits ever, too.
Man, I wish older style clothing was readily available.
I know every word!
Doin' good! I'm all keyed up, though - tomorrow's my last day in town and then I have a long drive ahead of me, and I'm fretting about forgetting things or not being able to fit everything in the car or...well, lotsa stuff.
I'm good at that. Too bad it's not a talent that's not more in demand!
Ugh...that last sentence didn't come out right, but I guess folks can figure out what I meant. ;-)
I suppose...do I have to have the "talk" with your Dad in the living room while I wait for you?
"And Ilsa has some of the nicest outfits ever, too.
Man, I wish older style clothing was readily available."
Me too.
What an adorable movie
The premise of "Return to Me" sounds gross...though I hate to say much for fear of giving it away. But it's sweet.
I've heard of Duel in the Sun, but I don't think I've seen it! I should...I see it has Joseph Cotton in it, for one.
Man...they don't make leading men like they used to. Not many, in any case.
If I was at may parents' house, absolutely!
Am I the only one who does not know the meaning of that word?
I think "Return to Me" is such a sweet movie. One of those that some else had to recommend and then I fell in love with it too!
Thye Best Years of Our Lives is one of my favorite movies and I love Rapsody in Blue, an American classic
Yeah...when I first heard about it, I thought there wasn't any way it could be good, but a lot of friends recommended it. Ended up buying it in the end, 'cause we kept renting it to show other folks.
The old guys crack me up - I think a lot of their conversation is more or less ad libbed.
