Steve Kinser, definitely the KING of the dirt.
radar on Weather Channel doesn't look promising, and a forecast of 31 degree low Sunday night/Monday morning.
We can get that here in Indiana, LOL
Mama's very good. Took a trip to Mayo in Minn and got a handle on her health issues. Had a nice 80th birthday party last Saturday.
Thanks for asking.
They have added a road course race to IROC this year.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 5, 2006) Crown Royal International Race of Champions (IROC) Series officials announced today that it will hold one of its 2006 races on a road course for the first time in 14 years. As part of its 30th anniversary season, the Crown Royal IROC Series will race on the famed road course at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) on Thursday, June 29, in conjunction with the NASCAR Cup race weekend.
The Daytona road course event is Race Three of the four-race invitational all-star series, which also includes events held at one superspeedway and two intermediate tracks. The series will make return engagements to three of the tracks it competed at in 2005. The season-opener will be contested at Daytona on the 2.5-mile, high-bank tri-oval on Friday, February 17, followed by a pair of intermediate tracks: Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, April 7 and the season finale at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 28.

Doesn't look good until after midnight, but the rest of the week looks great (can't see next Sunday though).
It's all our fault ST, we should have closed the gate when that storm came through here.
anybody know what the rainout date/time would be?
That's very good news. :)
Dang. What's everyone's best guess? Race or no race tonight?
They are still saying they will run tonight. If they postpone ARCA, I think they could go until 8 or 9, the Shootout is quick. About 2 hours to dry, don't think they will start after 11.
All I know is John Darby said earlier this evening that Nascar is a sport that does not throw in the towel very easily. They were hoping to run the race.
If anyone remembers Daytona last year I think we were up until 2 in the morning. But, that was a full race. I guess it also depends on TNT?NBC what they want to do.
I think if there's any chance of clearing before midnight they will GO!!!
OK RACE TIME POOL - LOL [what is cut off time]

RULEZ? This is Nascar, rules are subject to change on a whim. In short, make your own.

Me and ST are in central time zone, but everything is in Daytona so ET.
It better be sometime tomorrow.
