Actually ESPN did a piece on J.J Redick last year about the fact he was so hated for no particular reason. They documented the fact that his cell phone number was released, he received death threats, was booed at every stadium... etc. It was rather hard to comprehend where the hatred for this player came from, other than the fact that he's damn good.

I'm totally baffled by all this hatred for a guy who is arguably the best shooter in college basketball , and who as far as I know hasn't stolen any laptops ; hasn't been caught selling or doing drugs ; and hasn't made any anti-gay or lesbian comments ( ;) ) ! What the F ?
