Your french is pardoned...
Blown calls didn't cause Seattles' interception, all those dropped passes and two missed field goals.
Yup! I also think the chimpanzees were at DU headquarters....
Yup! I also think the chimpanzees were at DU headquarters....
Those "three tough teams" were the top teams in the NFL - and Pittsburgh beat them all, including the top team in the NFC.
That's a bigger accomplishment than the overrated '72 Dolphins
Come on now, the refs threw that flag before the play downfield happened, it's not like they decided to call a penalty just to negate something.
Seahawk fans are starting to sound like the "stolen election" democrats.
The replay clearly showed that the ball never crossed over into touchdown territory and Rothlesberger knew it.
Fortunately, this is a debate about sports mostly so its likely that nobody will remember this long after tomorrow. But email jimrob and get your password changed. Accusing somebody of hanging with Cindy Sheehan could be shooting words in Texas so nobody wants to see you get shot unjustly. Benefit of The Doubt Application - GRANTED.
Sweet! Thanks!
I would say the refs swung the score of the game by 14 points away from Seattle. The holding call was ridiculous. And the ghost push-off in the end zone was tiddly winks. Let them play, refs. And Roethlisberger's TD is still questionable in my mind.
Give me what? Four Jeromy Stevens drops, not going to the best back in the game enough early enough,or not finding Darrell Jackson after the quick start he had(did he even make a catch after the 1st quarter???). Nice play calling Holmgren!!!!
Thanks Stillers!!!!My pocketbook is a wee bit heavier tonight.
I never insinuated there was some sort of conspiracy. I just think it was a bad call.
Nice graphic, even if it is unjustified and adding insult to injury.
I liked the Fedex commercial better than the game...
Just to clarify for those posting; the ball needs to cross the plane of the goal line, which is the leading edge of the white line you see so prominantly on your screen. Not the nice darkly painted endzone, but the white line. Again, the White Line constitutes the beginning of the end zone... Now when you watch ESPN tonight, tomorrow, etc., please be sure to use your slow motion and watch the ball cross the "plane of the end zone" as previously described.
With the wind chill factor, it's eleven degrees in Pittsburgh, but the fans are still outside the bars celebrating in Oakland and the South Side. No problems besides the cold weather.
I believe the ball did cross the plane of the goal...or at least there was no conclusive evidence that it didn't.
I'm looking at the next Governor of Pa. in that pic. When we elect Ken Blackwell in Ohio, the libs might as well surrender!!!!!!!!
ONE FOR THE THUMB AND JEROME!!!!!!!
I thought the Fedex ad was a hoot. The caveman gets fired caused his pteradactyl package carrier (did they steal that from The Flintstones?) got his package picked off by a dinosaur. He stomps outside the cave and kicks a baby dinosaur, but then gets stomped on by a big elephant foot. Too cute!
