It sickens me that I used to like Alec Baldwin’s movies so much, especially, Hunt For Red October, now I can’t even watch it and haven’t for the past six years because he’s so vile and contemptible and liberal, three words which are synonyms in my book. If you haven't seen the movie "The Edge" with Baldwin and Anthony Hopkins I recommend you do.
The Baldwin character Bob is a true POS. He comes across as a vile sterotypical liberal. It must have been an easy role for him. I can imagine that when Baldwin asked the director "how to a play Bob" ? The director probably told him "just be your yourself".
The protaganist Charles is a sterotypical conservative, played by Anthony Hopkins. A great flick.
No I hadn't seen that, but now I'm curious. Does the movie get better, does baldwin's character die in the movie? :) (Say yes even if not so I have a warm fuzzy feeling until I see it). :) I know that Dennis Hopper is conservative and a registered Republican, so he must LOVE doing E-Ring. :)
And notice how Jerry Bruckeimer's shows are all among the highest rated shows on tv now on two different networks, and he's a registered Republican. Most of the shows saturated with liberal slants and digs at conservatives and their values, the law and order trio, left wing, etc, aren't doing as well. I don't think that's a coincidence.
