She's been producing milk all these years? The human body certainly is a strange and wonderful thing, although I'd say this woman mostly is strange.

LOL, as radical as I am about breastfeeding, even this is over the line in my book.

There are mounds of opportunities to slake the thirst for humor with this article but in the interest of good taste and to avoid being labeled a boob I will refrain.

While many people in the UK consider her decision odd, other cultures do not take such a dim view of prolonged breast feeding.

Other cultures don't take a dim view of female genital mutilation, either.

“I can’t believe any mother wouldn’t love to hold onto that wonderful feeling you get when you are nursing your own child.”

Here's the reason, a self centered one to be sure. I wonder if she will still get the "wonderful feeling" at lunch time when her daughter is in high school? It will of course be wonderful for her but wonderful for her daughter? I think not.

Breast milk is definitely best for babies, up to a point. Unfortunately, in being rich in the nutrients that a newborn needs, it does not contain the nutrients toddlers and older need.

Children who continue to breastfeed after 18 months become what pediatricians call "milk babies." They usually have very poor bone structure and are at risk for impaired mental development and poor infection resistance.

They are usually identified during an ER visit for inability to throw off a cold or flu that other children are getting over in 4-6 weeks.

Remember, breast feeding after 18 months is not about the child. It's all about Mommy feeling "fulfilled."

YUCK, I breastfed both my boys for a bit, but I think a mom should stop by one for sure. Breastmilk is not needed for children who can eat and drink just fine. Breastmilk is for babies!!!!!!!!

I have no kids, but my sister breast fed and it was quite difficult coupled with the fact that she had to work. I did see her squeeze some out into a baggy. YUCK!

Holy wet nurse, Batman, surely she can find some socially acceptable alternatives to continue to "capture that feeling."
