Prior to the blogosphere and Internet CBS could've gotten away with unseating an incumbent President using forged documents. Any critics of their story would've been immediately and easily silenced as crackpots and conspiracy theorists.

According to the CBS announcer, when questionable documents were used in the show, "bloggers quickly EXPOSED them" (emphasis added).
Wow. Obviously the first ammendment needs to be eliminated, so that the press can get back to its day-to-day job of cramming a liberal agenda down our throats. Hopefully the Hildebeast can use that as a campaign platform in 2008. Losers.

And in related news: Water is wet, and the sun rises in the East. Yeah, we know they're fake, and so do you. Your credibility is shot and you're trying to gain it back by reporting on a story that wouldn't exist if you still had the power you are trying desperately to obtain again.
Get over yourselves, antique media.
