I've seen Isaac's show on a couple of occasions. He seems very uncomfortable when his celebrity friends start going on their political rants. His interview with the vomitous Sandra Bernhard, besides making me turn the channel, made Isaac literally squirm.
What has she done since "Young Frankenstein"
I thought she may have passed away.
She did Mr. Mom, but that's all I remember.
Why do I expect a string of movie posters featuring Ted Kennedy to show up on this thread?
I wonder if the root cause of M.S. is "working with Gene Wilder"...
Yepper! That was called "MR.Mom." she also was the wife of Richard Dreyfus' character in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"Etc...She sure has done many Wife & Mother roles.
I wish she'd quit the Bush Bashing! I love My President and First Lady Laura! I wish He could stay in office for more than the Two Terms allowed...I'd keep Him in office till He chose to retire if I could.
What does she mean wish she had the ear of the President? In her auto-biography, she mentions that she peeked underneath the china plates to see where they came from. It was Bush himself that approached her and informed her that it was indeed real china and they originated from the Kennedy Administration.
Actually, we'd probably be better off if Teddy was doing movies instead...
Isn't it about time for another remake of Moby Dick?
(Hint: He wouldn't be playing Captain Bligh)
Why do you Capitalize at Random?
No BIG reason...Hadn't noticed some of it until I re: read. I was typing too fast I guess and had a shift key lead pointer finger.
She looks like a great candidate for Celebrity Fit Club!
also in Let It Ride with Garr (along with fellow leftie thesp Richard Dreyfuss) was Jennifer Tilly. She was playing a bimbo (what a stretch) while Garr was the gambling Dreyfuss' long suffering wife. It was a comedy. She didn't have a little black dress, ala True Lies, she had an even littler red dress. She ran up behind Dreyfuss and pressed against his back and put her hands over his eyes, shouting:
"Guess who!"
and Dreyfuss replied
"A football salesman?"
My two favorite Garr movies are Close Encounters (also with Dreyfuss) and Oh God!, with John Denver. She had a run of husbands with some significant issues.
"Guess who!"
and Dreyfuss replied
"A football salesman?"
Great scene. I often use a quote from a little later in that same scene. She says
"Well, you know what they say, nothing ventured...nothing ventured."

"SHUTUPFATFREEPERS"
Ok next time some actor goes on The Tonight Show or David Letterman and spouts off about how "Bush lied", we'll all just yawn and look the other way.
"i ThOuGhT iT wAs bEcAuSe yOu mIgHt bE a mEmBeR oF AoL"
I know you're joking I don't get it...fill me in on the joke...or not. I won't loose any sleep over it if you dont. {:O})
