I'm pretty new here too, and I also have had threads put under different topics than the ones I originally put them. No offense, but - so what? So I screwed up when I posted it. Is there a big difference on where it ends up?

Ok, so we have one site on the super secret black list that you can post but can be arbitrarily moved and/or removed at mods discretion.

1) Debka

Now we are getting somewhere...
what other sites should we add now that we are admitting it exists.
Lets do GlobalSecurity and TerrorismWatch and MilitaryStrategy and Geostrategydirct, and all those web-intel groups, since they so similar to Dekba.
I also thin CSN, since web-based should be banned from the news section, as well as non-publishing groups like MEMRI.

Oh yeah... Welcome to FreeRepublic RedBloodedAmerican

What it boils down to is, Jim runs this site and maintains this site. It is his site. He can put a post wherever he bloody well pleases.

And he don't like people who question him on his site. You are asking for more of the same.

Trust me.

I am not being ugly because I know you just want clarification. I am just telling you the truth.

Quilla...that would be pronounced "Kee-ya," right? Not "Kwil-luh."

Thats fine, I guess what you're saying is don't ask so many questions, it'll just make it worse (on me).

Fair enough.

Last thing I'll add is that I have no problem with Jim or any other mod having control to do whatever or making the decision to move stuff around.

I would just appreitate if it was less arbitrary, something that was coherent, consistant, and that I could look up.

That said, I guess I'll take your advice since I'm not trying to stir up trouble for trouble's sake, I really do think some rules would benefit the site, but its all irrelvant after you are banned I guess.
