In other news, Bill Clinton has offered to give the commencement address this year at Mifflin High School.

The assistant principal, Vincent Clarno, "smirked and said he hears crazy stories all the time," the report says.
When I was in school, the school administrators were part of the solution, not part of the problem.

"Some teachers and administrators, including Crenshaw, have claimed there was an unwritten school district rule that discouraged employees from calling police to avoid media attention"
Kind of says it all doesn't it? Okay we have prostitution taking place in our auditorium and sexual assaults being perpetrated by students, but we don't want any bad publicity so we just won't talk about it. Where are the teachers, the administrators etc.? Are they afraid of the students or do they tacitly condone the activities? With all the teacher/student sex stories it makes you wonder why we need more sex ed in the schools. It looks like the students are doing enough independent study on their own.

"Clarno was assigned to another school by Superintendent Gene Harris after the assault was reported to police by the girl's father."
Re-assigned, why wasn't his *ss fired and a note put in his personel file so he could never get another job in a school? This sounds like what went on in the Catholic Church with the pedophile priests.

I have a daughter with an IQ that qualifies her as retarded. My wife and I have been extremely protective of her, because we know how things like this CAN happen. If that ever happened, I would just resign myself to spending the rest of my life in prison, because some teenage boys would die of a gunshot wound to the head with their own cut off testicles in their mouths.

Hey, Vincent, a girl was assaulted in the school auditorium. That ain't a rumor, man.
< Some teachers and administrators, including Crenshaw, have claimed there was an unwritten school district rule that discouraged employees from calling police to avoid media attention, which the district has denied. >
How could you in good concious "look the other way" even if it was a "written" rule?

I was shocked when a short while back, a friend told me her daughter, in either 8
th or 9
th grade, told her that most girls and boys in that age group, including her, didn't think oral sex was "sex". My friend was shocked as well. She straightened her out in a hurry.
I really wonder if Clinton left us this legacy.
