Last night, I was in a bad mood, so I went over to my favorite liberal nut-case sight to get cheered up through a dose of Shaudenfreude. I ran into a post entitled “Be Careful What You Wish For” directed at us Freepers. I wont post the article here, with all its sound and fury signifying nothing, accept that crazy people can type too, but I decided to respond to it, just to piss off the crazies just a bit more. How to do that? Well, just a few facts sure to drive their craziness into the stratosphere.
They think folks, that under a Hillary Administration that we are going to wish we had not granted “supreme” power to the Executive branch, that we will rue the day we did this dirty deed as Hillary tramples over us with her Alito-granted powers. In addition, they feel that because they could not stop us from ‘stealing elections’ that all that is left for them is to start stealing them back.
Okay, stop laughing, I’m not done yet.
There are also vague references to you and I having to pay for our own medical insurance (when did they find out that Halliburton covers Conservatives for free, anyway?) and that our credit cards alone won’t be enough to prevent us from paying our bills under Hillarycare.
Okay, laugh now, cause I’m about to get serious. ……..Ready? OK.
In the funny little screed that I reference in this rant, I can only thank these poor souls over there in la-la land for reminding me once again, just how focused they are on their notion that Government runs all of our lives. To them, you and I are just pawns in the government game, having no say, no independence to determine our own futures.
Just a quick note to my reality-challenged friends on the left;
When one is a Conservative, it barely matters who the President is, in terms of how we live our daily lives. A Conservative is not going to feel threatened should we somehow lose control of government, because it will not mean the end of our agenda, only a delay or a temporary road block. Should another liberal take the reigns of governmental power, none of us on the Right are going to feel the need to run out and buy weapons (we already have them) to defend our human rights, or begin marching in the street in protest of another attempt by Liberalism to distort the Constitution.
Conservatism understands that the Government does not control us, but manages only to barely regulate us, tax us and punish us when we step beyond societies’ restrictions. We do not fear for our pocket books because if a liberal government taxes us more, it only means that we might be forced to hire fewer numbers of you, or pay those of you that we employ, just a bit less money. Now, don’t get me wrong, we are quite aware that Liberals also own and run businesses that employ people, and some of those employees might be conservative. But Liberal or Conservative owned, the profit motive is paramount.
That being so, it will be the person who feels that Government owes them something that will suffer from Liberal Government practices. We Conservatives are believers in the individual responsibility of each of us to earn our bread, and do not feel it is the charge of Government to determine our outcomes. We actually think it is our own duty to fend for our futures.
So would worlds collide, and Hillary or some other fascist end up back in the White House, we will be just fine. We may have to tighten things up a bit, cut back a bit, invest in less speculative entities, but we will be just fine. We will continue to give to our Churches and Charities, we will continue to earn our keep, feed our families, pay our bills, and burn conspicuous quantities of petroleum products as we go about our lives.
You, on the other hand, who feel that your rights are by granted by Government fiat, are the ones who will suffer. You, who feel that it is Government that allow is to pursue our very freedom and happiness. It is because you want Government to level the playing field for you, instead of doing it yourself through hard work and sacrifice, that when Government hiccups, you feel it the most.
Get a clue, my liberal friends. I don’t give a rats ass if Hillary becomes president, because she can’t take away a single right of mine. Just as President Bush can’t grant or take away any of yours. Hillary can’t take from me what is not hers to take or give.
My rights and yours, you blithering morons, come from God.
Hillary can’t take anything from me, so I fear her NOT.
