I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that he serves not a second in the big house. He's afforded the safety of celebrity and wealth...essentially has the prosecution covered.

While my understanding is the people he had threatened were world class scumbags and probably had it coming to 'em anyways (this is what I've been told)...

He's afforded the safety of celebrity and wealth

Like the play on words, but sadly, there is another brand of justice in this country for those of extreme wealth.

 it was probably sarcasm)

That is BS. Celebrities and wealthy people are able to afford top notch legal council, but they are also targeted and pursued much more aggressively than ordinary joes by police and prosecutors.

If an ordinary person got into a minor altercation with someone at a bar, the situation would be handled by security and then each party would go their separate way. If a celebrity is involved, the cops will called and the prosecutor will try to nail the celebrity to the wall in order to further his own career and to appear that he is not giving a celebrity a break.

The boat incident with the Vikings is a prime example. If the Viking players had been just ordinary people, the captain of the boat would have just cut the trip short and returned to shore. Since celebrities were involved, it was escalated.

Celebrities may tend to beat a rap frequently, but in most cases it is due to the charge against them being completely petty.

For a conservative message board, I am amazed by the amount of class envy that is present.

I just noticed that you may have written your post in jest. Now that I read it again, I see it was an attempt at humor.

Don't take what I posted personally, but there are just so many posters that have an unhealthy hate for all professional athletes, especially black ones that are flamboyant.

I grew up a Cowboys fan so you're alright in my book. I'm more of a Falcon fan now but I still like to see the Cowboys do well. I just hope they can succeed before Parcells and his "I have to be begged to come back every year" attitude sinks them back into mediocrity.
