And under the water...the USS Jimmah Carter, a submarine (it's true) Never seen, never makes the news, unless it screws up. GOOD PLACE FOR IT.

10 Presidents have had ships named after them since WWII.
9 were carriers (FDR has had a carrier (commissioned 1945) and a destroyer (in service now)
Carter has a sub named after him.
