“Brokeback Mountain,” the movie about a gay cowboy love affair that recently won four Golden Globe awards and is expected to be in the Oscar hunt, will not play in any U.S. military theaters in Europe.
And not because it’s a gay cowboy love story.
The movie, which has received almost universally glowing reviews and was the nation’s top grossing film per theater last week, suffers from the same problem that kept many of last year’s Academy Award winners — “The Aviator” and “Sideways” among them — out of AAFES theaters: It was released late in the year by a small, independent movie studio.

Fox's Mccuddy said that it was the top grossing on Wednesday because of a fluke with no new releases and a number of movies leaving the screen.

I suspect it was just another "accounting" stunt in order to PR the film as the homoadvocates have been doing all along.
It will be interesting to see if the walmart and target put this next to the Disney DVD selections.

My guess is quite a few homosexuals are seeing it more than once.
If only. Unfortunately there are many freaks, both gay and straight, who would want to see this. Not to mention the sheeple who do whatever the news tells them to.
