The guy did a lot of movies. First time I saw him was in " At Close Range" with his brother Sean and Christopher Walken.

That was a pretty good movie based on a true story out of PA.

He was very thin then. Not sure what happened to him along the way but 40 is too young to die of natural causes.

I thought he was very good in "At Close Range".

God rest his soul and comfort the Penn family during this tragedy.

Normally I would agree but my best friend died at 36 from a blood clot to the lung. Natural causes can happen at young ages. But I agree with your sentiment that it is too young to die.

"At Close Range" is a very underrated film, imo. A good friend of mine grew up in the Pennsylvania county where the movie took place. He told me the Christopher Walken character was named Bruce Johnston Sr. in real life (Google it) and he had a lot of inside stories about the family's shady dealings in his home town. Apparently, the Johnstons were a Dixie mafia family originally from Tennessee who settled in Chester County, PA and had a thriving burglary empire for years before the events of the movie took place.
