White seems to work for them. At least it did in Denver.

What seems to work for them is the fact that they have gone against sub-par to mediocre defenses. lets take a look
Cincinnati Ranked #28th Defense overall #26th Pass defense.
Indianapolis Ranked #11th Defense overall #15th Pass Defense
Denver Ranked 15th Defense overall #29th Pass Defense
now they play Seattle..
17th ranked overall Defense and 25th Ranked Pass Defense...

Seems a bit silly to me but if they think it'll help them so be it.

The might as well wear tutus. They are going to get crushed.

Ok...idiot woman here asks:
Why do they get to decide which ones to wear? Won't this force the SEAHAWKS into wearing the dark uniforms? Isn't this an established MO?

This really could be one of the better SBs in the last 10 years.
I really like the matchup, regardless the uniforms.

Smart move. Teams wearing black get penalized more. Or they used to anyway.
To: Perdogg
Well, the NFL does allow the home team choice of jersey color anyway?

and numerous sports teams have switched to black uniforms in recent years because they believe it creates a more intimidating presence.
I read a study years ago that came to the same conclusion. They compared the penalties collected by teams categorized by the color of their uniforms and the Oakland Raiders had the most and the uniform colors closest to the old German SS black and silver.
