This is just a newer edition of the Gong show.
Watching these shows is a tremendous waste of time.

"How Real Are The American Idol Auditions?"
Are you kidding? Every "reality" show - from Jerry Springer to Survivor - uses ringers to keep the show "interesting". Think about it: you're a producer/director trying to keep a million dollar boobdoggle floating for another season - are you really going to leave anything to chance?

Reality TV Magazine: You were shown auditioning twice in front of Paula, Simon, and Randy. One time you sang "And I'm Telling You" and the other time "Lady Marmalade." Did you really audition in front of them twice or was one of the auditions in front of someone else?
Crystal: I auditioned with the And I Am Tell You in front of them. The Lady Marmalade was a SONG that was REQUIRED BY THE PRODUCER, for us, "the contestants" to learn within an hour, to perform in front of Nigel, the producer, NOT RANDY SIMON AND PAULA, as they made it seem. Also, furthermore the auditions did not consist of "one day" of auditioning, there were 3 auditions previous to the audition leading to Randy, Simon, and Paula. I was wondering about that.
I noticed this too.

'Reality' TV is more fake than the fictional shows. It's almost as phony as the news.

Crystal: I find it VERY fraudulent! And that's what my lawyer says also :). You have got to be kidding me.
And this info that they have to audition more then once is not exactly a secret. A co-workers cousin got through in Chicago last season and told us the exact same thing. Auditioned for some low level people, then then the producers then Simon, Randy and Paula. He made it to Hollywood, but was cut there.

I think Idol is getting bashed now because the gay mafia is after them. I like the show and will keep watching it, what else is on TV? Gay date shows on MTV? no thanks

Being that my brother in law was on Bands on the Run and dealt first hand with "reality" tv and how they "edit", I can tell you, what you see on the show is NOT reality.
These reality shows are set up from the beginning for the outcome that is MOST entertaining. And as was the case for my brother in law, even though his band should have won, the band that did win, was set up to win from the get go, so it didn't matter how good the bands were or not.
Reality smeality. More like Editing for Entertainment. Taking several edits from different scenes to create the illusion of something happening in one scene, that really didn't.

These reality shows are set up from the beginning for the outcome that is MOST entertaining.I definitely thought as did many fans, that a setup was in place in the final of The Amazing Race where Rob and Amber lost to the black couple.

I have no doubt that they didn't have to edit the girl from PEOTONE, IL (pronounced "pee-a-tone")
I used to work at a machine shop there and lived about 10 miles away.
She epitomized the local girls from there.
