He remembers first seeing his father's Playboy magazine when he was 5 years old. "Right then," West says, laughing, "it was like, `Houston, we have a problem.'" Strange attitude, since at five one cannot typically achieve "liftoff" yet...

(Kanye dig it ...... a nice, deep hole)
To: Borges
"In America, they want you to accomplish these great feats, to pull off these David Copperfield-type stunts," he says. "You want me to be great, but you don't ever want me to say I'm great?" I don't want him to be great - I don't want him to be anything! What an ego on this putz! In two years he'll be doing a reality show on VH1 and no one will know who Kanye West was.....

Did you see the look on poor Mike Myers' face when Kanye said that? He looked totally shocked that Kanye was so moronic.

I don't see much TV, so I missed that one. I can imagine, though.
You know, I've never heard this guy sing, so I don't know if he does it well or not. But, considering his compulsion to "say what he feels," and how badly that seems to turn out a good deal of the time, I think he should definitely shut up and sing, no matter how he sings.

I totally agree.
You live in Chicago and are a republican? You have my sympathy.

Christ is Christ, and West is West, and ne'er the twain shall meet.
Except at Judgment Day, when West will get a big surprise.

If he really wanted to rake in awards, he'd forget rap and go play a queer sheepherder. That seems to be the hot ticket this year...

Last "Rolling Stones" I bought was in 1987.

Quite true.
And as we all know, wise men came from the East -- not West...

Whatever. He wants to try and emulate Christ by wearing thorns...I can only hope they hurt like hell.
The man is a fool.

Can't wait to read that "God's Senator" article, too. I'm sure it's just as factual and unbiased as it can be.
