And is Father Ted the series that features Hugh Laurie(from Dr. House fame), or am I thinking of something else...I have seen, I think, snipets of both of these in commercials on BBC, but have not actually checked them out, as of yet...will do so, I do think that the BBC does run lots of interesting things...

No, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry were in "Jeeves and Wooster", the hilarious version of P.G. Wodehouse's classic stories. I'll always think of Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster, so it was really strange to see him in a serious dramatic role in "House".

Father Ted was filmed in Ireland with an Irish cast. It's about 3 misfit Catholic priests on Craggy Island.
