Is Are You Being Served the comedy that takes place in a British dept store? Yes.

And is Father Ted the series that features Hugh Laurie(from Dr. House fame), or am I thinking of something else..

No, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry were in "Jeeves and Wooster", the hilarious version of P.G. Wodehouse's classic stories. I'll always think of Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster, so it was really strange to see him in a serious dramatic role in "House".

Thanks for the info, Mr. Jeeves..So Jeeves and Wooster is another series I have to add to my BBC viewing....

I have never seen Jeeves and Wooster...the first time I saw Hugh Laurie, was in Sense and Sensibility, and tho his part was small, I took note of him at the time, as I found him to be an interesting character...so I was thrilled to see him starring in House, which I never miss...I also saw Laurie on some late nite talk program, and hes also a very interesting person as well...
