I am morally opposed to making movies out of TV shows, and vice versa.

There are exceptions, of course.

Firefly was an excellent, groundbreaking Sci-Fi series that the brain-dead execs at Fox somehow canceled, and the movie Serenity, which it was based upon, was pretty good.
