Didn't think much of the Trek movies, and never watched Stargate, mostly because of the inherent stupidity in the title.
SG, I am informed, is short for Stargate. So the full name of the show is Stargate Stargate 1.
*Redundant acronym aside, I thought the show was pretty good - at least, for a while. :)
*What would we do without the HIV virus, ATM machines, NIC cards, PIN numbers, etc. (Google "redundant acronyms" for more)
