At 10 p.m., "Numb3rs" scored an 8.3/14 for CBS to beat ABC's "20/20," 6.8/12, and NBC's "Book of Daniel," 4.7/8.
Out of morbid curiosity (and boredom as I'm sick with a cold) I watched some of "Book of Daniel" last night. It is purely an attack on traditional values, and not convincing in the slightest. It doesn't even rate as good propaganda - it is full-on venom against decency.
I've tried to watch Numbers about 5 times, the show is like a sleeping pill for me. I managed to stay awake through a Sat. AM rerun once, which was good, since I got to find out "who dunit". It's too bad since it's a good show, I think it's just a case of too much math!
Monk has all new episodes running at 10 PM eastern time on USA. Most highly recommended to all.
I'm still not sure why Christians are upset about a series concerning a spiritually deluded clergyman of an apostate formerly-Christian denomination with a dysfunctional family.
I'm also not sure why anyone would want to watch such a series. (And evidently, as the ratings show, even most TV-watching folk feel that way, too.)
Local station here in Colorado Springs pre-empted the "Dancing Results Show" with a local college hockey game! Argh!!!!!
