You're welcome, U.G.! Yes, I forgot to rate it. 4 stars out of 5, IMHO. A "must see".

Oh, good. So she's definitely not a radical. My parents have moved into the moderate positions, tilting left but always pulling the level that has an (R) on it.
My parents tell me I'm to the right of Atila the Hun, although I probably wouldn't put that on an application. LOL

I just remembered! The best party of the evening.
A friend was cleaning out her mother's attic and gave us a huge GOP flag with the capitol in the middle of the "O".
It's a blue, white and gold flag and is quite old, she said.
back to cleaning...

I have 2 big flags with the current Republican symbol on them. Our County Central Committee uses them in Parades.
I've never seen a 'special' one.
Did they give this flag to you?

Good morning! I slept a bit late this morning, and just finished with making breakfast. Family will be here late this afternoon to celebrate daughter's birthday, for which I am making a meatless lasagna dinner.
I will check in from time to time whenever I can take a break. Everyone have a good day!

Enjoy the day, then, Jane. Remember Friday, and the Reagan celebrations?...I also thought of Carter: 25 years ago saw the demise of his tenure!! HOORAY! Bet the memory was rankling him....
Jemian, Michael Medved gave End of the Spear an excellent review at the end of his Friday show. The only quibble he had was the music sometimes got in the way of the story...a little too prominent or something...

Well, I have just completed my order list from the
Roots and Rhizomes catalog. I'm afraid to total it up to see what I spent.

He Got One
A slightly belated but nevertheless hearty Yo Ho Ho to Dr. Rusty Shackleford at the Jawa Report for helping to capture and convict a would-be terrorist -- Mohammed Radwan Obeid, a Jordanian who fraudulently entered the United States and was (he claimed) trying to set up a terror cell that would carry out an attack that would make 9/11 feel like a "headache." Because Dr. S. discussed Obeid and published his e-mail address (which Obeid had unwisely left in a plea for conspirators on a jihadi website), a reader began corresponding with Obeid and succeeded in gathering enough evidence to interest the FBI. Obeid eventually pled guilty to lying to investigators and will receive (we all hope) the maximum five years... before being deported back to Jordan.
Have some virtual champagne on Big Lizards, Rusty! And accept this laurel and hearty handshake for a job well done.
This is off Big Lizards blog with JAWA linked there. Never misunderestimate the power of the blogosphere.
Good morning everybody.

It is today. But I start celebrating my birthday a week before the actual day, and it lasts for a week following the actual day...... :-)
Actually, I commented on the Snow thread that releasing the Barrett report was like an early birthday present, not realizing all the birthday wishes that would solicit. So, instead of telling everyone that it's not until the 22nd, I just let it go. So from now on, I'll start celebrating a week early and end a week after the day... LOL.
