It would seem there is truth to the warnings against the Harry Potter series if the opening of an honest-to-goodness witchcraft school in Canada is any indication of increased interest in the occult that has resulted from the books.
Hey! A bottle of Dewars 12 year-old just appeared on my desk. Do that again.
Geez, it's like a Christmas stocking: Full of fruits and nuts.
Hm. I get chocolate and Spam in my stocking....
"Hey! A bottle of Dewars 12 year-old just appeared on my desk. Do that again."
Awww...man! I'm going to have to quit using that particular Book of Shadows. The spells in there are always doing something they're not supposed to. Last time I used a spell from that book to fix a flat tire, I ended up with a small dragon attached to my rear axle.
Maybe I'm not holding my wand correctly or something.
try by right clicking properties(on the x) & then copy & paste in your address bar.
Tried and failed. Getting "page not found". So strange! I can see all other graphics, but not photobucket.
I have the same problem with my computer here at work. (Yes! I'll admit it! I FReep while at work!)
However, I have no such problem at home.
This leads me to conclude that for some reason, my work server is denying access to any photobucket links.
I know is doesn't help, but it's all I can offer.
Was the book written by someone named Clara?
Perhaps it's unplottable. Get thee to the Canadian HP Academy!
"Was the book written by someone named Clara?"
I'm not sure. I got it at a garage sale. The folks there said it was their daughters, but she had graduated from high school and didn't want it any more.
I should have known, though, that it was worthless. All the "i"s were dotted with little hearts.
ROTFL!!
If they were real little hearts, though, you'd really have something....
Why would anyone want to go to school to be one of these?
"If they were real little hearts, though, you'd really have something...."
Well, there is that. I guess that's why the spells in that book are unreliable. There is a page, though, where the writer and two other girls left bloody thumbprints. Some kind of little witchy ritual, I suppose.
Still, the results of the spells are always fascinating. I tried the spell that was supposed to wash the dinner dishes, but they all just flew into the kitchen trash can instead. Effective, but not the desired result.
I'm still wondering if I'm holding the wand right, though.

No comment....
Ahhh....
There is dark magic in Canada. They transfigured bacon into coasters.
LOL! I agree. Clear evidence of dark magic.
Or StarFleet Acadamey? LOL!
It could be ANY country!
