I tend to agree.

And as a more general comment, I also don't think an employee would be able adequately to attend to "all the personal and business needs" (loaded phrasing, there ...) of an employer, while also caring for the needs of a premature newborn, presumably as a single parent.

Nobody working for an actor should expect life long employment. At some point the actor would want something different in many cases.
