Good Morning! It's a 2W day here...windy and wet.

I like the late Professor Hayek's solution, Raven. If only....

No wonder you can't sleep, lysie. Your respite has been shortened. Do you HAVE to honor that request?

Good morning.

Bummer, lysie......

2Ws here, too. Hope things settle down so grandkids can swim in the pool later today. It tires them out but good.

The chemistry is fine......can't figure it out.

Get well soon, Rav. Colds are such a bore.

Good morning, Cm, lbkq.

Do you HAVE to honor that request?

'fraid so. I like that sister. She's the only semi-sane one outta the bunch. She's 85...5 years old than my mil and looks, acts 15 years younger.

When you got those 2 boxes for Ev, did you cry? I would have.

Hey...please don't give up completely. Saltwatering is difficult...but...

There are some lovely colored tropicals. Sarah has some beauties. Like this....

Yellow lab. In the same tank she has some that are a beautiful blue with dark blue stripes.

The cichlids are about as close to saltwater fish..as far as color ..as you can get.

I couldn't sleep either but not for the same reason.

Wet and very windy here ....*S* has all washed away tho.

Today is garbage/recyle day and the neighborhood streets are flooded with everyones trash that they put out last night.

Good morning. I'm sorry the vacation from MIL didn't work out. How far do you have to drive today?

I bruised all four fingers on my left hand yesterday at the stable. For a time I thought I had broken them. Today they're swollen and stiff.

Today is our trash day. If I put bags of trash on the street too early, scavengers come by, poke holes in the bags and go through it. Then garbage gets strewn all over. FYI, I don't have anything personal in it. Things get shredded.

It will be about a 60 mile round trip...not too bad.

Ack! I read about the horses wanting to get in the stable first. I'm sorry to hear that your fingers suffered.

Good morning! We ended up getting about 2 inches of snow last night...over ice. Took hubby quite a while to get his truck cleaned off this morning. It's fairly cold here...25 degrees.

Gail and I had to call for help. Then several of them took exception to the towel for a rub down. Next, I was supposed to pick out the hooves and also smell for thrush. I've never smelled thrush before but was told it was an abnormal smell, different from manure. Ha! One of the ponies didn't want me to touch his feet. I finally put a halter on him and presto! he stood very still. The question was what to do with the rein as I looked at the feet? I draped it out the stall door. The dumb horse couldn't see it wasn't tied to anything and so he stood as if it were. LOL! At least I know I'm at least as smart as a pony.

Well, I think , perhaps, after her visit, some will realize the situation.

But, hey...the basement will be our retreat. It's gonna be nice....real nice.

Sarah has a 120 gallon tank that G is going to incorporate in a wall that will divide the pool table room and the TV room. We will have a panel that will slide to protect the tank when we shoot pool, that is if we ever get a table.
