It doesn't work so good inside, because there's no flash with movies, at least with mine... so they come out dark.

But got this shot as a still from a movie I took by accident of the horses... Cyn jumping over the drainage ditch.

I take accidental movies all the time with my new camera, it's really easy to switch the mode to movie without noticing, so I think I'm taking a picture, and a few seconds later, I realize it's filming.

So I got to poking around with Movie Maker, which I only just realized I even owned, and it's got a tool that grabs screenshots. It'll also edit movies for length, which is good.

So next time I go out to take pictures of the horses runnin' and playing, I want to try doing it on purpose. You know how that pony gets to bucking, but she's so fast, I ~always~ miss it trying to take pictures the regular way.

I wish I'd have had this tool a couple years ago... I remember always getting stumped trying to take screencaps of LoTR clips that were .avi or other Windows media files. MS Movie Maker does that.

Cyn sure is jumping high for such a small rivulet of water.

Or does the angle make it look smaller than it is?

The pony is very hard to capture on film. ;-) Stills from a movie would probably work better than other methods, but even so...can't get the full effect!

She's a character all right!
