If I remember correctly, okra plants have lovely flowers like squash plants. They remind me of hibiscus!

Do they grow along the ground like squash, too? Or do they need staking?

I guess this is stuff I could Google...

Lovely flowers! We usually plant only a few plants and then eat the okra right off the stalk in the garden when they are small and tender. It never makes it into the house! LOL! Like cherry tomatoes and snow peas. Joshua eats most of them on the spot.
