Morning all! I've got a busy day prepping for Super Bowl - lots of baking and laundry and stuff. Just moment ago Big'ol said to me, "You know it's so and so's birthday tomorrow. Maybe we should have cake." Mmmmmkay another thing added to the list. Oh well!

We had that new low-carb pasta (Dreamfields) last night with dinner and I was bracing for the worst. For some reason they felt the need to add sorbitol and that usually is a nightmare for me. But with the small amount in the pasta and a reasonable serving size it was all ok. Hurray! Low carb pastas sure have come a long way since two or three years ago when they were marketing soy-based cardboard in pasta shapes. *shudder*

Good Morning, coffee has been sipped and gypsygirl believes it's her walk time. Brisk 21 degrees but no wind.

Looks like we're in for another quiet day in the Hobbit Hole.

Hope all's well out in the forest by the western sea.

What's in low-carb pasta? They use some sort of protein, I'm assuming, but what?

I like the Dreamfields lo Carb pasta. One of my cousins mentioned it when I was at our last reunion. She and her husband own a couple of delis and they use the Dreamfields for 'Lower Carb' pasta salads.
