Itsa wood laminate. We're doin' the whole downstairs.
We debated a tile look in the kitchen/den/foyer. But found out it was just about the same cost to do the wood look and include the dining room (current office) and living room.
The wood laminate sounds nice. Pergo has some lovely floor designs, and I know there's another couple of companies that make them, but I can't remember who right now. We actually bought some wood flooring to re-do the kitchen, but then we didn't do it because we were planning to do the addition. So we still have the old vinyl and no addition yet. ;o)
